In this section we give you an assessment of the Top 10 A level Schools in Scotland for 2012. These positions are compiled from the average A* and A grade percentages out of all candidates taking A levels in Scottish schools. Note that many Scottish Schools offer Advanced Highers instead of A levels and these are listed separately. Children would typically choose an A level Scottish school if they were intending to apply to an English University.

Note.1. There may be a few gaps in our data, because the information is not freely available or a school will not supply it or the school’s sixth form is too small to warrant being included. For those schools who refuse to supply data, we have to assume they are lower graded schools.
