Fine Arts College Hampstead
Centre Studios, 41 - 43 Englands Lane, London, NW3 4YD, United Kingdom
Fine Arts College was founded in 1978 as a college specialising in teaching the arts and humanities. Originally a 6th form college, they now offer a wide range of GCSE and A-Level subjects in an atmosphere that encourages personal growth and experimentation to allow students to find the subjects they excel in. The relatively small size of the college and the strong but informal nature of relationships between staff and students fosters high expectations and a learning environment focused on critical thinking and independent thought.
Class sizes in Years 9-11 are a maximum of 12 and each pupil has a personal tutor who offers academic and personal advice and assesses progress regularly.
