Hall Grove School - Bagshot
There is a great sense of space at Hall Grove, despite it being on 40 acres, which for a home Counties school is relatively small. There is something for everyone. Owned and managed by the same family for the last 60 years, the Head is very much at the forefront of the school and well-known and highly thought of in the local community.
Although they offer boarding it is only for up to thirteen pupils from Monday – Thursday and after 21.00 at night the boarders are cared for by the Headmaster’s wife, as the boarders’ accommodation is above the Headmaster’s house.
Facilities include a small farm, Pony Grove as well as new drama and dance studio and well-equipped light bright classrooms. The school also has a house in South Devon where all children, from Yr 4 upwards, go for fieldwork.
The school aims to provide a nurturing environment for its pupils and the small community feel provides the perfect platform for pupils to develop with confidence and security.
Would Hall Grove School be a good fit for my child?
Academically ambitious, the school offers Latin and Greek to the pupils from Yr 7 and presents and strong sense of order and purpose. Pupils go on to a range of schools but they are fiercely proud of the number who go on to Wellington College. Hall Grove is therefore a great fit for students (and parents) looking for academic rigour within a naturing and warm environment.
How can I apply to Hall Grove School?
Whilst Hall grove takes pride in welcoming children from a diverse range of backgrounds, it does require successful applicants to display the required level of aptitude and commitment to flourish. Please call us to tell us more about your child, and discuss their suitability for regsitration.
