What is Ravenscourt Park Prep School like?
Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School (RPPS) is a lively, co-educational, independent school for children aged 4 to 11 in West London. Owned by the Gardener Schools Group, a family-founded company set up in 1991, RPPS was the first of the group's four schools to open. There is a palpable sense of community at RPPS, and visitors often comment on the warm and happy atmosphere, and the family feel that they notice around the school.
The school is, perhaps unsurprisingly, situated next to Ravenscourt Park, a twenty-acre park which provides the setting for the majority of PE and Games lessons. RPPS also has specialist on-site facilities such as a multi-purpose Auditorium, Library, Music Suite, Art Studio and Science Laboratory. Additional facilities include a designated gymnasium, ICT suite and large outdoor playground space.

RPPS aims to provide an education of the highest quality with an engaging curriculum that is varied, exciting and forward-looking, whilst also preparing pupils for transfer at the end of Year 6 to London Day Schools and 11+ boarding schools.
Senior school destinations are good, but RPPS is far from a high-pressured hot-house. The school aspires that every child's years there are happy, successful and fulfilling. Pupils are encouraged to engage in the excitement of learning and develop the confidence to question, analyse and express their opinions. The ultimate goal is for RPPS pupils to leave at the end of year 6 ready to make the most of the opportunities ahead of them, both at their choice of senior school and in later life.
How can I apply to Ravenscourt Park Prep School?
RPPS is non-selective at four years old although there is often a long waiting list. Parents are able to register their child for a place from birth.
